From the very beginning, the TRANGO was designed to be a comfortable and light jacket for shorter, demanding outdoor activities. The material alone will thrill your with its lightness, softness, floating and stretching.
The stretch material allowed the cut to be adjusted so that even if the jacket is closefitting it is no problem to add more layers underneath it and it doesn’t limit you in your moves or cause any discomfort.
The inner layer of this special softshell is low-combed terry-cloth an isolation layer that also transports the body moisture. This multifunction layer is, especially in colder weather, a great advantage compared to classical hardshells.
The jacket is comfortable and light gives more the feeling of a simple softshell jacket even if the TRANGO is an ordinary tope jacket with top protection parameters.
The in-collar hood is adjustable and provides sufficient face protection (overlapping peak, higher, up to the nose, collar) – thanks to the vents in the front of the collar you can use the collar protection even during more demanding activities.
Two chest pouch pockets provide enough space for all necessities for your activities. For the more valuable things there is one inner zippered pocket. Another very practical pocket is on the left arm.
Anatomical raglan sleeves without the shoulder seams are perfected with shoulder and elbow protectors that strengthen these mechanically strained parts.
The jacket is anatomically shaped (sides, back) and the best possible permeability is allowed by the extended armpit zippered vents. The bottom adjust rubber string can be fixed so is doesn’t get caught on rock, skis, etc. Almost all the seams are covered (sealed) by new technology anti-abrasive top seals.
This softshell jacket is the best and most comfortable solution for more demanding mountain activities as well as for extreme short-time climbs. TRANGO is the most suitable for the downhill skiing or the freeride, an excellent back-up for the skialp tours. The best arguments to use this jacket are its cut, material and weight. Not even in the summer should the TRANGO stay at home. Thanks to its top water-resistant membrane it makes an excellent tracking jacket.
